Ibiza Clubs: Pacha

pacha

There will be no mid life crisis for this Ibiza icon as they take on their fortieth year. Brought to life by Ricardo Urgell and brother Piti in 1973, the cherry brand has grown as rapidly in popularity as the island itself. The only club which can sustain staying open all year round, you can guarantee that there will never be an empty dance floor in this super club. Boasting five different rooms, there is something to entertain everyone regardless of the night of the week you choose to attend. Many consider Pacha to be the first born club on the island; the inspiration which drove Ibiza to become one of the clubbing capitals of the world.

Ground breaking from conception, the Pacha brand has always strived to push boundaries and ultimately create the most spectacular parties. The amazing decor is complemented by thematic theatrical props created in an exclusive Pacha factory; you can expect to be taken on a visual journey by this club. The brand is no longer restricted to Ibiza with many more clubs, hotels and shops throughout the world, however if you want the original experience, it is Ibiza you need to visit. The flagship club has stayed true to its family spirit and still has many of the same employees from its early years.

Pacha has the largest VIP area on the island, surprising considering its relatively small 3000 capacity. Another sign of the exclusivity of this super club. If you are considering choosing just one club to experience VIP in, Pacha should be at the top of you list. Celebrity appearances are common and the Pacha team are amongst the best in the world at delivering the highest quality of service.
2013 sees Pacha offering a selection of new and old nights. Monday night is Epica with the likes of Chuckie and The Bingo Players. Tuesdays see the return of Flower Power, a rollercoaster ride into the 1960s and 1970s, a flamboyant reminder of Pachas roots. Wednesday is the intriguing Wisdom of the Glove with Guy Gerber. David Guetta and his enduring popular F**k Me I’m Famous night is back every Thursday, remaining a firm crowd pleaser. Taking you into the weekend is Insane on Fridays and Pure Pacha on Saturdays. And last but not least, new to Sundays is rising star Solomun with the night +1, seeing him team up with a special guest each week.
