Can Pilot is known island-wide for its prime cuts of meat, fine ingredients, and authentic preparation of their traditional Ibicencan dishes. Located in the heart of Ibiza (San Rafel), this popular eatery has gained a reputation among locals as the ‘best steakhouse’ on the island.
The authentic restaurant is named (in Spanish), “Asador”, meaning “BBQ, Spit or Grill”, which is, of course, how most of the menu and meat is prepared. The star dish is called ‘Chuleton de Buey’, a typical steak, which is finished off at your table on a hot coal grill. Other popular steak cuts include ribeye, entrana, sirloin, and entrecote, with many other alternative specialty dishes such as peasant, chicken, lamb chops, and chorizo.
The decor and environment may be simple and traditional, but the food is quite simply amazing.
