Situated north of Santa Eulalia, Es Cana is no more than a 40-minute drive from the airport.

Within a ten-minute stroll in either direction, two further beaches await. Cala Nova is an incredibly popular beach with white sands and turquoise blue crystal-clear waters. The sea here often gets a heavy windbreak and is perfect for bodyboarding enthusiasts. Here, visitors can enjoy a day of luxury at the brand new ‘Bless Hotel’ overlooking the water’s edge, a cocktail or two at Atzaro Chiringuito, or Ayianna’ for a more relaxing bohemian atmosphere.

For a humbler and more authentic beach, Cala Martina can also be reached on foot, where a diving and windsurfing school awaits. Here, Restaurant Martina, immensely popular among locals and windsurfers on the island, offers beautiful Paella and fresh, locally caught seafood dishes every day.

From Cala Martina, you can continue along the coastal path for approximately 45 minutes to reach the town of Santa Eulalia. Beware, it is safe but not smooth for little ones or those a little unsteady on their feet.

Wednesdays see an island invasion as the weekly hippy market springs to life – the perfect place to find a souvenir of your stay.
