San Antonio, otherwise known as ‘San An is famous for its nightlife and party atmosphere. Popular with partygoers, it has a reputation for attracting a young, hedonistic crowd. However, there is another side to the town, which also makes San Antonio very attractive to families and low-key visitors. Over the past few years, the area has undergone a major redevelopment to help shake off the ‘tag’ given to it by the media.

San Antonio boasts some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. From the tiny, secluded bay of Cala Gracionetta, to the crystal-clear waters of Cala Bassa, you cannot fail to find your perfect beach spot somewhere in the area.

In the town itself, Playa S’Estanyol is an extremely popular summer spot and a top favourite for water sport enthusiasts, where adrenaline junkies will enjoy the inflatable high-speed thrills of the tornado rings, flyfish, and banana boats.

San Antonio is Ibiza’s second-largest town and one of the busiest resorts on the island, which of course supplies everything, so you do not need to leave the area. Everything from supermarkets, pharmacies, tobacconists, and many retail shops are open and offer a wide variety of options to satisfy the multitudes.

There are hundreds of restaurants in San Antonio, offering various types of cuisines, from traditional English fare to more exotic dishes from all over the world.

In the center of San Antonio, you will find the ‘West End’. This area is surprisingly peaceful during the day, but at night, the party scene comes alive and is packed with hundreds of shops, bars, restaurants, and clubs. The famous pyramid-shaped club Es Paradis, Eden, and a bungee rocket are also located here.

The world-famous sunset strip is home to one of the best sunsets in the world where you can join the cosmopolitan crowd sipping cocktails as the sun goes down. Live broadcasts from Radio 1 are usually operating during the summer months. Other well-known places include O Beach and Ibiza Rocks Bar.
