San Augustin Ibiza

San Augustin Ibiza

Very peaceful and scenic with a great restaurant

Highlights:- Very peaceful and scenic with a great restaurant

Fiesta Date:- August 28th

A sleepy little village situated off the main road between San Antonio and San Jose.

San Agustin is one of the most preserved villages on the island of Ibiza, barely touched by tourism. The countryside walks and clifftop hikes are most definitely one to add to your Ibiza itinerary if you are a lover of nature. Especially during the late winter and early Spring.

The village is of typical Ibicencan architecture with white-washed farmhouses, otherwise known as Fincas, with authentic stone walls representative of Roman masonry. Here a sense of edging back into a previous time, filled with peace and tranquility is to be experienced

The 18th-century church is the main focus of this beautiful little hamlet surrounded by breath-taking Ibizan countryside, San Agustin encompasses the ‘real Ibiza’

There is a lovely restaurant situated directly across from the church called Can Ber Vell, this old manor house is from the 17th century and was opened in 1981 as a meeting point for friends to talk and share exquisite food, serving traditional Ibicencan cuisine in a beautiful setting. It still hosts all of its original character and continues with the same ethos, where many locals gather for regular rendezvous and long afternoons of eating and drinking.
