Fiesta Date:-

San Miguel, situated in the north of the island, is known for its scenery and peaceful way of life. The area typically attracts a family-friendly crowd and consists of a small village and Puerto de San Miguel beach resort.

The village is one of the largest in Ibiza, with a beautiful central white church situated on the top of the hill which overlooks the area of San Miguel and the panoramic and vast landscapes in front.

With lots of nice restaurants to choose from and a few quaint shops, San Miguel is not to be missed on your island tour of Ibiza.

There is a crafts market on a Thursday selling local produce from around the island, and if you are lucky you may see the traditional high kicking folk dancers who perform in the church grounds.

The road leading from San Miguel to Santa Gertrudis is great for cycling with an almost straight and slightly downhill lane over an amazing 8km of the countryside.

The large sandy beach, protected by towering cliffs, makes San Miguel a great spot for families and sun-worshipers. San Miguel is also home to the island’s largest accessible caves, which are well worth exploring.
