San Rafael Ibiza

San Rafael Ibiza

Artisan shops, a superb choice of restaurants, easily accessible as in the heart of Ibiza

Highlights:- Artisan shops, a superb choice of restaurants, easily accessible as in the heart of Ibiza

Fiesta Date:- 24th October

San Rafael is located in the center of Ibiza, situated halfway between Ibiza Town and San Antonio. The central, traditional church takes up a prominent position, situated on the top of a hillside, offering spectacular views of the surrounding area and across to Ibiza Town.

The village itself has a small population with most of the houses and fincas sporadically placed throughout the surrounding countryside. San Rafael is renowned as the Artisan craftsman’s village of the island, with many local boutique shops reflecting this.

The quiet village comes alive at night and is home to some of the island’s trendiest restaurants and bars. El Ayoun and E’lephant are both well known local eateries, but Can Pilot is probably the most famous, selling a spectacular array of meats. Privilege, Underground, and Amnesia nightclubs are also just a short distance away.

The islands Hippodrome, where trotting races and motocross can be enjoyed is just on the outskirts of San Rafael. San Rafael is also home to the island’s San Miguel beer factory.
Other amenities include banks, a supermarket, a petrol station, a pharmacy, and craft shops, making any stay as comfortable as needed.
