October sees the clubs say adiós to the season with a wealth of spectacular parties, yet the magnetism of the island still sees tourists descending until the end of the month. An October holiday to Ibiza may take place at a slightly different pace, bit there is still plenty to do and see. The flights dramatically descend in price- take a look at Skyscanner and the weather can still make it’s way into the 30’s. You will find Ibiza’s beautiful beaches at their most tranquil, with plenty of bars and restaurants still open to wind down in the evenings.
A big attraction for October is the annual Jet Ski festival. From 2004, this spectacle has taken place in San Antonio Bay around the Playa Bella complex. Organised by Xtreme Action and Yamaha, the JetBou festival is considered the best of its kind in Europe. Over 100 Jet Skis will descend on the bay for ten days of adrenaline action. This event draws everything from beginners to professionals so you are guaranteed an exhilarating watch.
The hundreds of Jet Skis are set to descend on Playa Bella on 4th October 2013. If you are in Ibiza for the start of the festival, keep your eyes peeled for the impressive machines being trundled down the Ibicencan roads into the bay. This in itself, is a sight to see!
The location is also somewhat perfect for Ibiza holiday makers this time of year. The further reaches of San Antonio Bay traditionally stay open much longer than venues in the nearby town. You will find a selection of busy bars and mouthwatering eateries at your disposal, with the Playa Bella itself hosting a selection of night-time entertainment each evening.
