Village of San Jose 

San Jose (or San Josep) is the largest of Ibiza’s inland villages and sits high in the hills at the base of the island highest point – Sa Talia. It is the centre of the municipality and boasts a wide selection of amenities with the 18th century church being at the centre of village.

This church is one of the most visited, by tourists, in Ibiza and inside the large altar depicts the infant Jesus with Mary and Joseph. At the time of construction every local family assisted in the building of the church.

Numerous style cafes, bars and restaurants can be found here and cuisine ranges from tapas and local delights to modern and up market bistros. A great place to collect a handmade souvenir of Ibiza from one of the many local little craft shops / galleries.

Cala d’hort and Es Vedra

Situated on the South Western tip of Ibiza lies Cala d’hort beach. Dominated by Es Vedra, a rocky island rising out of the ocean 2.5kms from the shore. A very popular beach which is part sand and part pebbles. You can find sunloungers, watersports and a handful of superb restaurants

The beach of Cala d’hort is the best location for viewing the mystical rock of Es Vedra.

Transfer from your cruise ship to the village of San Jose (25-30mins transfer)
One hour free time in San Jose before continuing to the beach of Cala d’hort (15 Min’s away)
Free time at the beach (approx 2.5hours)
Transfer service back to the ship or Ibiza Town
